We really are making it up as we go!

I finished Maryanne's block. This block totally took me outside of my comfort zone. I am one who enjoys order, matching seams, and lots of color. This block besides being none of the above did all it could to erase all the tips and tricks I've learned about quilting. Making the modern quilt is a fun new way to think of quilting. I am going to love working on these. Although, I will say that I'm glad I only had to do one of these blocks--it took me quite a while to figure it all out.
